We process personal information in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Website hosting

Our website uses Amazon Web Services (AWS), with hosting configured in Frankfurt, Germany.

When you visit, technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested pages and access times may be processed to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose technical issues.

This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, where applicable).

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use our website and improve its content.

Analytics may collect information about page views, visits, approximate location, device characteristics and interactions with our pages. Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which may last up to two years. Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or personalised marketing. We configure user-level analytics data retention to 14 months.

Where prior consent is required, including generally in the EU, EEA and United Kingdom, analytics is enabled only after you agree. In Switzerland, analytics may operate on an opt-out basis where permitted by applicable law.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Analytics settings in our website footer.

The legal basis for consent-based processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where applicable law permits analytics without prior consent, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding website usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your preferences

We use your browser's local storage to remember your language, appearance settings and privacy preferences. These settings help personalise your experience without requiring an account and can be cleared through your browser settings.

Contact

If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and manage related correspondence.

Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries or on steps taken before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) or (b) GDPR).

Service providers and data transfers

We use AWS for website hosting and Google for analytics. These providers may process personal information on our behalf, including outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area.

Where required, international transfers are protected by applicable adequacy decisions, recognised data protection frameworks or appropriate contractual safeguards.

We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described or to meet applicable legal obligations.

Google Analytics user-level data is retained for up to 14 months. Aggregated reporting data may remain available for longer.

Correspondence is retained as necessary to handle inquiries, maintain relevant business records and comply with legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, request data portability or withdraw consent.

To exercise your rights, contact privacy@docliv.com .

You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority, including the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the relevant EU supervisory authority.

We may update this notice as our website and services evolve. The latest version is always available on this page.
